AFRICAN GALLERIES NOW

The result of a partnership established between the African Art Galleries Association (AAGA) and the Artsy platform, the second edition of “African Galleries Now” is on from 9th June to 30th June, with the participation of 12 member galleries of the association and  about 48 artists  from countries like Africa South, Angola, Congo, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Uganda, Mali, among others.

As international interest in contemporary African art continues to grow, the Pan-African AAGA initiative together initiates a professional Arts Community that champions the growth and sustainability of contemporary African visual art on the continent and supports its current talent and future.

In this edition, MOVART presents works by artists: Ana Silva (AO), Keyezua (AO), Ihosvanny  (AO) and Mário Macilau (MOZ). This event is availablefrom the 9th to the 27th of June at artsy.net.
