We present the works of Fidel Évora (b. 1984 Cape Verde), Januario Jano (b. 1979, Luanda), Keyezua (b. 1988 Angola) and Kwame Sousa (b. 1980 São Tomé and Príncipe), to elaborate a discourse in which the desire for emancipation from the colonial question is mixed with the unavoidable impact of memory and legacy, circulating through the virtues of cultural hybridisation and ultimately analysing the complexity of the migratory situation, at the root of many of today’s main geopolitical issues.
