MOVART Gallery presents “Arteology” by Muamby Wassaky. In a series of 20 sculptures, the artist finds stones in unlikely places in nature, which naturally manifest expressive characteristics of life. He works on them to tell a story of human and inhuman life. In his “Arteology”, Wassaky represents a cross between nature and art.

Muamby Wassaky is a multidisciplinary Angolan artist who lives and works in Luanda. He is a founding member of the artists’ collective “Os Nacionalistas” and a member of the Elinga Theatre association. Primarily a stylist, Wassaky has participated in various exhibitions as a visual artist, exploring languages such as painting, installation, sculpture and photography.
