Born in Luanda in 1987, Evandro Cláver Nobre da Costa, better known as Evan Claver, is a self-taught artist who began drawing at an early age. He studied cinema and cinematography. Peculiar in his use of drawings (doodles) to portray the dynamics, chaos and movement of urban life, he adopts a detached perspective that allows him, through lines, to stage the frenetic daily reality he observes.

As far as his works are concerned, Evan Cláver has his works in various private collections and has taken part in several group and solo exhibitions, such as the 1st Luanda Triennale, Sindika Dokolo Foundation, “Dipanda Forever”, 2004 and “Fuckin’ Globo”, Luanda in 2016 and 2020.
