Galeria MOVART has been selected to take part for the first time in ARCO Lisboa, the international contemporary art fair which this year will feature the “Africa in Focus” section curated by Angolan Paula Nascimento. The fair, now in its fourth edition, will take place in Lisbon from 16 to 19 May at the Cordoaria Nacional.
For this edition, the gallery has selected the artists Keyezua (Angola), Mário Macilau (Mozambique) and René Tavares (São Tomé and Príncipe) to present a series of their most recent works (photography and painting), as part of the theme of the “Africa in Focus” section, which will focus on the continent’s most modern contemporary art.
